Kindergarten worked on a project inspired by Dr. Seuss's book Yertle the Turtle.
Miss Heatherly reports "Kindergarten works cooperatively to make the stack as high as they possibly can. We designate a turtle Mack (on the bottom) to knock over the stack. Dr. Seuss adds his name to those fighting for equality with his gentle rhyme."
" And today the great Yertle, that Marvelous he, Is King of the Mud.
That is all he can see. And the turtles, of course... all the turtles are
free as turtles and, maybe, all creatures should be."
