Mock Trial

Antioch's Mock Trial was today.  Thanks to our "Judge" from Antioch's Class of 2012, Samantha DaRocha, for teaching and working on the trial with 7th & 8th grade each week. 
The Prosecution Team scored 82 points, The Defense Team scored 84 points. 
Prosecution won the trial based on presentation.

Many Hats in Kindergarten and First Grade

Kindergarten and First Grade read The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins by Dr. Seuss, and then made their own hats together.

"Second grade pretended to be paleontologists as we continued learning about fossils and dinosaurs. After they found all the bones, they had to put them together. Second grade realized that this was a fun, but difficult job but did a great job putting all the pieces together!"
