Happy Thanksgiving from Antioch!

First Grade Thanksgiving Centers!

The first grade finished their Thanksgiving Centers.  "We learned about the Pilgrims, Pilgrim houses, Wompanoags, Wetus, and the first feast.  The centers are complete with a travel play set.

Reminder: Pies will be arriving today!  Please plan to pick up your pies by 5 PM.   

Term I Awards

Perfect Attendance - Students that were not tardy, dismissed, or absent all Term I.

Honor Roll - Students that maintained a B average all Term I.

 Principal's Award - Students that maintained an A average all Term I.

Hot Dog Day!

News from the Third and Fourth Grades

 After reading Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder, Ms. Leal's 3rd and 4th graders had the chance to "pack" their own wagons for a symbolic trip west.

The third and fourth grades studied different typed of storms during their Weather Unit in science.  They created these 3-dimensional storm posters. 

As a culminating activity for their weather unit, the students built soda bottle tornadoes.  Thanks to all those that donated bottles for this project! 

Fundraiser Reminder!

This Friday November 14th orders are due for Leddy's Pies, Christmas wreaths & poinsettias, and Cookie Dough.

Antioch's Open House

Help us spread the word about what Antioch has to offer.  We have a few printed flyers available at the school, or you can Print a flyer to post.  Doctor's offices, libraries, or dance studios are all great places to try hanging a flyer (with permission of course).  Thanks!

Dining for a Cause

Our Dining for a Cause Fundraiser this month will be this Friday at Chili's in Somerset, on November 7th from 11 AM until 11 PM.  You will need to present our flier to your server for Antioch to receive the donation.  We will have copies at the school on Thursday and Friday.  It's a 1/2 day, lunch & dinner 10% towards your fundraising!!!
