From Ms. Pyle:
The First Graders have been working very hard studying different countries around the world. We wrote our first non-fiction books about each country. We also made displays showing the main components of each country. Children helped prepare a food item for each country for the fair. Passports were made and as each child "traveled" to each country a stamp was earned. In all, nine countries were represented and all K-8 students and staff made a visit. The fair offered a glimpse into nine different cultures. I express great gratitude for all the help offered by parents, it was a huge success!
