 Today First Grade spent some time reading Dr. Seuss Books, and practiced their cursive writing.

Ancient Egypt Projects

Today, the Fifth and Sixth Graders presented their Ancient Egyptian Projects to their class. Each student’s presentation was recorded for our families to see, since we could not invite other classes and families to attend.  They did a great job! 

Kindergarten Rockets

In honor of Black History Month, Kindergarten learned about Mae Jemison, the first female African American astronaut to travel to space.  The Kindergarten class all decided that they are brave enough to travel to space.  "We made name rocket ships too!"

 

Math Marshmallows

 Using addition task cards, the First Grade Class used pretzels as base ten, and marshmallows as ones to find their sum.

Pyramids

Grades Five and Six worked on their “sugar cube pyramids” for their Ancient Egypt unit in Social Studies. They had to figure out how many cubes per level using multiplication and drawing figures. They did a Great job!
