Field Day 2015

Preschool Community Helpers

The Preschool Students have been learning about Community Helpers.  Last week, students brought items from home that Community Helpers might use in their work.  Teachers, Bakers, Hat Makers, Doctors, Veterinarians, and Conductors were represented! 

Carnival Club

For all of the Classic Carnival Club members: Mrs. Dupuis has requested donations of clean opened cans for club on Thursday.  Soup, tomato, or bean cans would be perfect.  Thank you!

First Grade Luna Moth

The first grade class released their classroom luna moth earlier this week.  They chose a cool cloudy morning to introduce the nocturnal moth to the outdoors.  For four weeks the students have been observing the moth's chrysalis and waiting for it's beautiful green wings to emerge.  

Kindergarten Butterflies

The Kindergarten class learned about symmetry as they painted butterflies as part of their lesson on the caterpillar life cycle.

 observing in their classroom.

Fifth & Sixth Grade Greek God Speeches

Grades Five and Six presented their Greek God Speeches in 2 - 5 minutes each in front of the whole school yesterday and then had an evening presentation for their parents!!!! Great Job!

First Grade Multicultural Fair

1st Grade had their Multicultural Fair today! All students were given a passport and could travel to the 6 countries of 1st Grade's family origins! We received stamps at each destination. We heard about their symbols, flags, and traditional foods! Great Job 1st Grade!
