First Grade Thanksgiving Centers

First Grade finished their Thanksgiving Centers! 

 "We learned all about the Pilgrims, Wompanoags, and the first feast."  

Second Grade's "Turkey Protection Program"

Second grade has started the "Turkey Protection Program" for before Thanksgiving. The turkeys are given a disguise and the students were responsible for explaining how they hid their turkey and how they know the disguise will make their turkey safe.

Second Grade's Thanksgiving Play

Second grade put on "The ABC's of Thanksgiving" play for kindergarten and first grade.  Each student had three lines and created the letter props.  Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!

The Giver Project

Grades Seven and Eight have finished designing and presenting their "Fair Societies".  After reading The Giver, by Lois Lowry students worked in groups to try to design a fair society.  Each group had to present their civilization's government, laws, community set-up, and civilization model.

News from Second Grade

"Second Graders worked on a turkey glyph about Thanksgiving that we will use next week as we dive into learning about graphs and graphing.  Second grade also learned about Veterans Day and wrote letters to veterans and created a remembrance poppy." 

Our November Dining for a Cause Fundraiser is tonight!  On Tuesday November 8th, Applebee's in Fall River will donate 15% of your check to Antioch.  Pick up a flyer at Antioch, and remember to bring your receipt to the office for fundraising credit.

Election Day at Antioch

Voting Day for our students!

Every four years Antioch students cast their votes for President.  Every time, Antioch's presidential winner is our next President!  Will the results be the same this year?
