Chinese New Year

 Today Miss Vickie came to Antioch to put on a special Presentation about Chinese New Year.  At lunch, we enjoyed Chinese food from Vickie's Chinese Restaurant. 

First Grade Computer Class

 Ms. Pyle's First Graders worked at creating their own Powerpoint presentations today.   

Biology Lesson at UMASS Dartmouth

On Friday, all Antioch Students from Kindergarten through 8th Grade went to UMASS Dartmouth for a lecture on bones and evolution.  Students were able to touch and observe different species.  Thank You to Professor Katherine Kavanagh for the wonderful biology lessons!

From the Preschool

 Mrs King writes:  "We spent the first week of the New Year getting back to our daily routine in preschool as we introduced our new letter "E", and our winter theme.  The children painted snowmen at the "E"asels and were true artists!  Look for them hanging in our hallway and classroom!  We also welcomed a new student to our class and celebrated a birthday this week.  It was a fun week to welcome everyone back.  Next week we will continue with our "Winter theme" and have a Hot Chocolate day on Thursday.  Keep warm!"
