Kindergarten's Frog Lesson

Ms. Heatherly's Kindergarten students have been learning about the frog life cycle, and made "frog visors" to wear.

The Antioch Art Show was a great Success!

The President's Challenge

 Physical Education teacher Mr. Frank has been preparing our students to participate in the President's Challenge. Students in First through Eighth grade have been working during P.E. class at school to complete some of the fitness activities.  This morning they finished the running portion of the the challenge.

Community Helpers in the Preschool

Students in the Preschool celebrated Community Helper Day yesterday.  Children brought in things that community helpers use, and learned from some some classroom visitors about the ways that  they work to help in our community.

Field Trip to Lowell MA.



Antioch students in grades 2 through 8 visited the Tsongas Industrial History Center today.  Students in grades 2 - 4 learned about the history of cloth weaving.  The 5th - 8th graders learned about the ecosystem of the Merrimack River Watershed.

 Today the Kindergarten class released the ladybugs that they have been caring for and observing in

Arbor Day

On Wednesday, The Lions Club of Fall River, Inc, visited Antioch with a donation of trees to help us observe Arbor Day.  Each Antioch student brought home a baby blue spruce tree for planting.  Thank you to Antioch Parent and Lion Melissa Ahaesy, and the Lions Club of Fall River.
