Preschool Times

 From the Preschool:
"The first few weeks of October have been a busy time for the
Preschool / Pre K class.  We celebrated Autumn with making handprint and
thumbprint trees, acorns for the letter A, and had fun listening to the sounds
of fall by crumpling piles of autumn leaves for an art project."

"This past week we started the letter "B" and had a fun time on our
"Teddy Bear Day"!  Our "B" bag was full of so many things the children
brought in that started with the "B" sound."

"For Fire Safety Week (October 6 - 12) we discussed many things,
but I think the children enjoyed most walking around our school and
counting all the Exit Signs we have.  We also made dalmatian dogs, fire hats,
finger puppets, and of course our own "Exit Signs".
"We ended the week with a visit from some firefighters, Sparky the Fire Dog,
and a moving fire hydrant! The children even got to sit in a real fire truck!
Next week we look forward to celebrating "School Spirit Week"
as we continue learning about the letter "B"!"
