Seventh & Eighth Grade Bridges

This week the seventh and eighth grade students tested their toothpick bridges.  A bucket was hooked to each bridge from below, and sand was slowly added to increase the weight supported.  The students designed and built their bridges from toothpicks, string, and glue that had assigned costs. The goal of the project was to support the most weight with the lowest construction cost.
